Lists, and Teams, and Bears, OH MY!

We've just released lists, an easy way to keep your tasks organized! This is an important stop on our journey to improve your life and make your inbox more manageable. We've been beta-testing it amongst ourselves for a few weeks now, and we're really excited to finally release to all of you.

So what exactly is a list, and how does it help?

A list is a powerful way to group related tasks together. Instead of putting all of your tasks in one gigantic list, you can create multiple lists, and organize your task far more efficiently.

For example, a programmer might have separate lists for bugs and features. As a sales rep, you might create lists for leads and accounts. As a GTD follower, you can have lists for waiting, next actions, etc. And, in the spirit of ease-of-use, a task can belong to multiple lists (just like labels in Gmail), so you never have to agonize over where to put a task.

But that's only the beginning! You can also share lists with your friends and colleagues! This works exactly how you'd expect, giving them access to any task that's added to the list. If the recipients are Taskforce users, they can interact with the tasks through the widget. If not, they can still interact with the tasks via email.

We've found sharing lists amongst our team to be incredibly useful, and over the past few weeks it's helped us collaborate on work and even respond to the thousands of emails we get from you guys every week. We can't wait to see how you and your team use this feature, so please, send us some stories!

We released lists to everyone over the last week, so check it out and give us your feedback. And if you want to motivate us to keep it up, show us some love :)

Oh, and we promised bears in the title, didn't we? Well we wouldn't want to leave you empty-handed:
